{"id":2,"date":"2011-06-03T15:35:54","date_gmt":"2011-06-03T13:35:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/re-usable.org\/blog\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2018-03-16T16:39:11","modified_gmt":"2018-03-16T15:39:11","slug":"our-goals","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sahara-roots.org\/?page_id=2","title":{"rendered":"Our Goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Goals of the Sahara Roots Foundation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to work together with other foundations, such as L&#8217;Association Zaila, in the area of Mhamid el Ghizlane<\/li>\n<li>to help preserve the Moroccan Sahara and provide a better future for its inhabitants through educational activities<\/li>\n<li>to help the inhabitants of the Sahara become aware of their threatened environment<\/li>\n<li>to donate the booklet <a href=\"http:\/\/sahara-roots.org\/?project=me-my-sahara\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cMe and My Sahara \u201d to schools and children<\/a> in South Morocco as a tool to help teach about the delicate balance of nature in their environment.<\/li>\n<li>to help sell the booklet &#8220;Me and My Sahara&#8221; in the Netherlands and Morocco in order to be able to donate the booklets to schools in Morocco.<\/li>\n<li>to help find funds for example, by giving presentations, that can be used for example to plant trees such as tamarisk, in order to help fight the problem of desertification<\/li>\n<li>to invest in long term sustainable development projects such as planting of trees, with the help of the unique<a href=\"http:\/\/www.groasis.com\/en\/technology\/sahara-roots\" target=\"_blank\"> Groasis Waterboxx<\/a> system.
